Hi,

Are there plans to combine WF and Web Service Service Software Factory?? at the moment their architectures don’t seem to fit, because of WF's Workflow runtime requiring persistence!

I might be completely off the ball here because I only started looking into WF about 3 weeks ago, but some help here would be greatly appreciated.

Don has talked about some of the plans for WF and WCF in other posts, but if you want some good tip on how to use WF and WCF together take a look at the .NET 3.0 SDK samples. Usually installed at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0\Samples\ There is a zip called CrossTechnologySamples.zip which contains a sample where WCF is hosting WF.

Good sample Johan, there's another article about integrating WF and WCF on MSDN (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb266709.aspx).

Hi guys thanks for the posts, integrating these technologies works if you create a host from scratch, but i'd prefer to use IIS like in WSSF. any thoughts?

I'll check out the links and Zip!! thanks guys.

the samples dont use IIS. There are some security features in IIS that i need to leverage (SSL with user authentication), am I hanging onto IIS unnecessarily? if so, where is microsoft taking IIS.
