Values in VS 2008 Configuration Manager does not show

When I add Service Factory Modelling edition to a Visual Studio solution the values for Configuration, Platform and Build does not show in VS 2008 Configuration Manager

This is a known isssue of the factory but it should not have any side effect.
Each project will retian its own Config/Platform/Build settings.
The only project that does not have any of these settings is the model project (the one that contains all the models).

I don't have any settings in the configuration manager for ANY project in the solution, not just the model project.  This prevents me from configuring a project not to build for a specific build configuration.  For example, I don't want Unit Test projects to build for the Release configuration, but I can't change the option.

I found a workaround.  If you unload the model project (using Project->Unload Project), the configuration manager works correctly.

After making any changes, you can reload the project and go back to using the modeler.
