Hello,

Iam totally new to Web Service Software factory, and Iam having trouble getting to know ways in which collections can be handled.

The following are the scenarios I need help with.

i) I have a stored procedure , whose output is a result of joins between a couple of tables. Usually I would either create a collection class or directly bind the DataSet got from the stored procedure to the grid view. How can such a scenario be handled in Web service Software Factory.

ii) Is there any way I can create collection classes directly through the guidence packages?

Thanks,

i) You may create a DC and a collection with that DC element and then you can creata a translator that handle the conversion to a from your dataset so you won't expose the dataset in your service contract.
ii) You can use the collecction element in the data contract model.
