creating new field in GE windows edition

Hi ,

I want to create an user defined field in GE windows edition.there are already predefined fields like Title,Technology,Type,Date,Source,Status,Author, etc. So i need help to create an user defined field similar to the above . Please reply me as soon as possible.

In the list view which contains columns like "Title", "Technology" etc, I need to add another column 'X' and do a filter based on 'X'
I have the source code with me and changed the required XMLs(GuidanceTypes.xml,librariesColumns.xml,Views.xml) , but in vain.
The changes seem to have no effect.
Please help..Reply ASAP

I'm sorry but I still not sure what are you talking about. Is this something realted to the "Web Service Software Factory: Modeling Edition" or one of its Hands-on Labs?
