What is next for WCF Service Modeling? What is the path going forward? Will Microsoft Patterns and Practices Team come up with a new tool? Will Microsoft embed something in the next version of Visual Studio? When next version of Visual Studio comes
out are we back to writing WCF services from scratch? Just looking for what the plan and direction from Pattern and Practices Team with regards to WCF Service development in the Microsoft developmnent world.
Thanks!

Hi,
I would also like guidance on this. We have not used the factory yet. Before considering it, I need to know if there is a future for it. Should we wait for the next version of VS?
Thanks.

Hi guys,
As mmil pinted out, the WSSF is not longer under MS development so now is open to the comunity. This basically means that anyone is free to upload any change or fix. The way to do this in order to avoid breaking the code or adding potential bugs or discussing
the changes before adding to the main source code, is to discuss the changes in this list and then our company Digit Factory which helped MS to develop all the versions of this code have a final review and upload the changes.
This way we try to keep the factory updated and alive. On the other hand, if somone new to the factory wants to adopt it, is still a good choice since is a tool well proven with good guidance which is still very useful to write WCF services for smaill
or large proyects.
Regards,
Hernan
