Hi, we have been looking to move to VS 2010 when running the evaluations with the WSSF RC, we encountered a couple of anomalies.

First when upgrading the projects I removed the WSSF Project and followed the instructions detailed here http://servicefactory.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=211726 . We found that the any Service Contract Message that had an element which referenced a Data Control Collection loses its link. So the Type property of the element is blank.

Second we kept having VS 2010 throw a message about Low Virtual Memory when we were generating code for one of our Data Contacts. After investigation we found that when the WSSF is validating the Data Contract it is taking large amounts of memory and not releasing the memory after it completes.

I have ran the instructions detailed here http://servicefactory.codeplex.com/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=210793

Here are the memory stats as we run the processes:

Process                                                            VS 2008 Memory Level        VS 2010 Memory Level

Open Solution                                                   241,512 kb                           240,123 kb

After Generate Code on Data Contract (1)           256,148 kb                           1134,496 kb

After Generate Code on Data Contract (2)           269,176 kb                           VS 2010 System Crash

Any assistance is appreciated.

Kind Regards
